Friday 6 August 2021, 3.30pm – 5pm we are bringing you LIVE – Briony Benjamin AND Jamila Rivzi.

Briony is releasing a brand new book, titled Life is Tough (but so are you). Briony is the creator of viral videos covering important feminist topics from the tampon tax to domestic violence. She directed ABC2 documentary Big Bad Love and is an all-round amazing woman.

Briony will be joined by Jamila Rivzi, who needs no introduction to Women in Strata. Jamila is an author, TV personality and advocate for women’s rights. Jamila will facilitate a Q&A with Briony. This is a stellar line up friends.

Just when you are thinking this does not get any better…it does! As well as an amazing live session with Briony and Jamila, Sydney peeps will receive a box of wine and cheese, delivered to your door. We’ll have a live tasting guide as you enjoy your wine and cheese. It will be like we’re all in a room together.

We’re still not done. Everyone who attends will receive a copy of Life is Tough (but so are you) AND Jamila’s new book.

The cheese, wine and books are intended to be consumed and enjoyed in the company of the virtual event. If you don’t wish to have the gift delivered to your home and just wish to attend the event, that is absolutely fine too.

To avoid disappointment, we have outlined clear instructions below so that your wine, cheese and books are delivered to you safely (if you wish to have them delivered):

1. If you would like to attend the event and do not wish for the wine and cheese pack to be sent to you then please feel free to register for your ticket through the Eventbrite page.
2. If you are within a 25km radius of the Sydney CBD and would like to have the wine, cheese and books delivered, please email Hannah Berryman with your delivery address and mobile number (hberryman@chambersrussell.com.au).
3. If you are outside of the 25km radius of the Sydney CBD and would like to receive the wine and books then please email Hannah Berryman with your delivery address and mobile number (hberryman@chambersrussell.com.au). All packages for delivery addresses that fall outside of the 25km radius will be sent via Australia Post with express shipping however we can’t make a promise that it will arrive for the event on Friday. The best way to maximise your chances are to register as soon as possible and we will try our very best to ensure that they do arrive in time!
