Now that I have your attention, let’s all agree that connection, celebration, and Christmas all deserve your time just as much as your clients do.
So, let’s put down the meeting papers and get together on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, for no other reason than this: we deserve it. Oh, and to help Jolly get a lift (more on this below).

As always, Women in Strata have the venue, vibe, and people for you to revel in your resilience, brilliance, and capability, and that of your strata besties. Your gender isn’t relevant, just your ‘tude. Men are always invited to celebrate and be celebrated with us. In fact, we are using this event as an opportunity to celebrate and support a wonderful man in strata, Jolly Duong. On 16 March 2024, Jolly had an accident that severed his spinal cord at his T5 vertebrae. He is now paralysed from halfway down his chest. Can we tell you more? Jolly did the City to Surf 154 days (!) after his accident. He had barely learnt to use a wheelchair, yet he did it! Jolly is a strata manager, an athlete and one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet.
Jolly needs a lift in his home. Right now, he is needing to pull himself upstairs every day in his own home. When your body doesn’t work from the chest down, this is a hugely physical, dehumanising task, and it doesn’t have to be.
Let’s get Jolly a lift! He is one of us. And he deserves the basic human dignity of not needing to drag himself up and down stairs in his own home. Women in Strata will be fundraising at the event and making a donation to Jolly’s GoFundMe – and you can as well by clicking here
