It was May 2015 when Amanda Farmer hit “publish” on the very first Women in Strata blog. Ten years later, we’re still here, still motivated by you, still cheering you on, and still championing the women who make this industry stronger every single day.
Whether 2025 had you surviving or absolutely thriving, come celebrate a decade of WiS with us.
When we began, one of our biggest motivators was simple: there were barely any women in strata leadership. You could count them on one hand. Today? We have women leading major businesses as CEOs, General Managers and Heads of Departments. We’ve watched extraordinary women build their own companies, step into executive roles, and lead with courage, grit and integrity.
Change wasn’t a pipe dream. It happened. It is happening.
And that’s because of you:
• The women who stood up and stood out.
• The men who recognised and backed that talent.
• The women who took risks.
• The men who stood beside them.
We are so, so proud of you.
If you’ve ever joined us, on the rooftop at 98 Riley St in 2016, at Drag Queen Trivia in 2021, donating to “It’s in the Bag,” meeting Jamila Rizvi (first in person, then online), or if you’re joining us for the very first time, we cannot wait to celebrate this milestone with you.
