It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
And so it begins. The chaos and laughter and mingling and eating (& drinking) of the festive season. I dare say, no-one does end-of-year quite like the strata sector. And NO-ONE does it as well as women in strata.

Registrations are now open for our 2018 – Women in Strata, Annual Charity Party. For the third year now we’ll be accepting donations to the Share the Dignity ‘Its in the Bag Appeal’. Last year’s truly amazing donations found their way to isolated communities in Central Queensland, where they were received with so much thanks and love. It’s amazing what a difference a newhairbrush and a supply of tampons can make. Knowing that a person you will never know cared enough to create you a gift.

 

This year, I will be making up ‘teenage bags’ – to help make things just a little better for homeless or at risk teenage girls. Life is hard enough during teen years. If you also want to make up a bag especially for a teenager, tie a yellow ribbon around it to let our volunteers know.

The party this year is happening on Friday 7 December, with the fun starting at 6pm on the rooftop of the Royal Exhibition Hotel, Surry Hills (right across the road from central station).
