I am so inspired by those women in strata putting their best foot forward and nominating for SCA board positions.
Catherine Lezer has just informed me of her nomination for the Strata Owners Chapter.
Catherine is a dynamic business woman with a record of success; post graduate qualified she is a franchisee of Smartline Personal Mortgage Advisors Sydney.
Always active Catherine became a Director of Juventus Pty Ltd, a Perth based property Development Company, engaged in Margaret River development projects. She continues to provide her business acumen to the strategic planning, quality, governance and marketing of projects, commuting as needed.
Owning in strata property for many years, she has been volunteering on various executive committees for 15 years.
Currently Catherine chairs two of the buildings where she owns property. Always seeking to be involved in her community she has been actively dealing with legal matters, interior, lift and exterior upgrades, defects and a multitude of day-to-day strata matters.
In each building Catherine is driving implementation of sustainable projects, including the first strata solar retrofit in City of Sydney, which are saving the strata schemes significantly on energy costs/carbon emissions as well as creating a commercial advantage.
Catherine willingly shares knowledge and is currently a member of the Strata Owners Committee. Her passion for strata and high energy has led her to write numerous articles for industry publications and present the strata industry to government and community audiences in presentations and information sessions.
